I have a question about the tube. I have the black Climate Line heated tube but the choices on the machine say "slimline or standard". I would guess it would be slimline and the machine will figure out it is the heated one?
If you have a climateline, then there is no tube type setting, because it's automatic.

climatelines come in slimline and regular size.
You mean I didn't make any mistakes in my suggestions of set up????? I'm amazed!
Hey, thanks Pale Rider for clearing up the tube mystery. I will go back in and see if I can leave the tube setting blank so that it just "reads" that the Climate Line tube is being used.

I, er, didn't read 'em.. but looking back, they seem reasonable, and then we'll see where it goes from that... which is how you always do it :)

It doesn't matter, when the machine detects a climateline is attached, it stops showing the setting choice. If you have a climateline attached, and still see the option for what tube type, then something isn't working properly.

Attached is my first data report from my new Resmed Air Sense 10 for her machine. I am not yet able to do much interpretation myself, so I would love to have anyone who is willing take a look and help me to see what adjustments need to be made. I do see all those CA's and am alarmed.

I forgot to add that I feel as though I slept well last night. I didn't have to get up at all during the night. I was aware of some mask (F30) leakage but was able to maneuver around to stop it, albeit over and over again. I had not slept much at all the night before, so that could have contributed to my sleeping better last night.

Please review the instructions in my sig below on how to arrange the sleepyhead display for a meaningful screenshot.

Oh gosh, sorry. I thought I was doing them right. I have printed out your instructions and will now go see about re-doing them. Thank you.

no worries. palerider was MUCH worse on me for messing up the charts!

it's VERY good to know that you slept better. if you can remember, try to tell how you slept with every chart posting. it's the most important info and besides, we want to know you are sleeping well.

looks like you are doing good, but we'll know more with a "corrected" screenshot.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

I hope I now have the charts organized and displayed the right way. I am attaching the data from the two nights of use on my Res Med Air Sense 10 for her.

I am hoping you will be able to view the information you need to help me start making progress in my treatment.

Thanks so much to anyone who can help me.

Hey Greentree

How did you like the new machine? Did you sleep well, or fitfully?

You have still got a fair amount of flow limitation, so I expect Pugsy and Palerider will tell you to push up the pressure a notch.

Looks like you had a leak problem last night. Were you woken by it?

I like the machine very much. My breathing feels more normal and less "forced".

I feel as though I have slept well both nights. I have fallen asleep pretty quickly both nights and feel like there is no thrashing around as I did before on the other machine. I also have not had to get up during the night either night.

I don't recall being aware of leaks last night (Thursday).

I am concerned with the high number of Centrals.

Glad you liked the machine.

I really don't know enough about centrals - you need Pugsy and Pale to drop in and advise you on those. I know it is a good thing that your pressure is staying pretty steady.

Thank you so much, Katestyles. You have been very helpful to me with getting the machine set up and general moral support. I really appreciate it. I will look forward to hearing from Pugsy and Pale.

I have one question about the used Res Med machine I have purchased. I smells very strongly of some sort of perfume. I ran it today next to an open window for two hours but I don't think it helped much. I am going to try a little bowl of white vinegar sitting next to the air intake next.

Is it harmful to me to be breathing this perfumed air?
