I strapped it on about 10, and here it is 3 and I'm up. Feeling like I need vintalin (rescue inhaler), nose is stuffy, chest congested maybe and hard to breath, and feeling blah.
Edit: While in shower I blow out blood chunks out of left nostril (been happening), and get some green out the other nostril.

You need to crank up that humidity.
I know it causes moisture build up in the mask or hose and that's annoying but won't hurt you...the dry nasal mucosa from not enough moisture is hurting you.
Do the sock trick until your heated hose arrives...or warm up the bedroom air temp.

Re: New CPAP user, about 2 weeks, ribs sore , throat sore.
I got back from the regular doctor, did X-Ray on sinus' and chest. Said the right lung sacks aren't opening up fully and causing the issues there. Said it should clear up within 14 days. Told me I probably should start cleaning everything once a day since I use humidifier and if I didn't like the pulmonlogist telling me "he don't care" about everything else going on, he can find me another (which is what I went with on that).

So I just tried wearing the CPAP after cleaning it (It's been a week) and replacing filters (2 weeks), and man.. my side is killing me where the doctor said the sacs weren't filling up all the way vs "slightly annoying" earlier. I only had the thing on about 30 mins after cleaning it and was going to maybe lay down and take a nap.

I decided with everything going on I might as well call up my ENT and see what he says on the upper part of the head since that's where the blood is, and then get rid of the pulmonologist that's acting like a glorified CPAP salesman.

Re: New CPAP user, about 2 weeks, ribs sore , throat sore.
I got the heated hose yesterday and started back on the CPAP. It's made a pretty big difference in comfort, but I can still tell me throat is sore and sometimes I still get stuffy nose. (after someone told me on IRC that the F&P mask has a "quick release" thing in the hose to remove/put back in the new hose) .
They have been pushing Zrytec at me, so I guess I might as well start it or allegra.
I need to see the ENT on his opinion on something else that's been messing with me (jaw area) so I might as well go anyway and have him look at the nose while he's at it.
The right side, lung, that was messed up on X-ray is still giving me issues/pain in right side.

When someone is unable to follow simple instructions that other newbies get spot on the first try... patience wears thin.
"make it look like the examples"... informative and helpful enough?

note that it only has, from top to bottom, event flags, flow rate, pressure, leak rate and flow limit. you have to move around the various charts to arrange them this way, then take the screenshot.
please be advised that the experts here aren't out to just push you around. they really do need to see your charts this way in order lo lock onto what things you may need to change in order to optimize your therapy.
good luck!
