If you look at your AHI and leak level on the display as soon as you sit up on the edge of the bed, and it is acceptable, why even bother with SH? (I am assuming your machine settings have been optimized - lowest min pressure that achieves desired results.)
On the other hand, if SH is fun sport and you have the time, go at it.
You're right of course. I do feel my settings are optimized (for side sleeping). Additionally I'm half way through a 30-day "no changes" evaluation of these settings. I have absolutely no reason to look. I guess you've nailed it with the "fun sport" thing.

put the card back in the machine *before* you let yourself look at the charts.
Discipline.

Or get one of the wifi SD cards, so you never take it out of the machine.
Now this is right up my alley, and a pretty "outside the box" solution IMO. In my mind these are for cameras, and while I know of them, I had them pigeon-holed. Never would have thought of them for this application. Thanks! I've just been reading how I can set it up, and it could definitely work. What I read for distance is "100 ft with no obstructions". This may be dicey. OK in the summer when I'm on the patio every morning-only obstruction would be a window. But in winter, I'll be in a bad spot for this. Need to do a little more research on range before taking the plunge.
I am pretty surprised that no one has said "Just put the card back when SH reminds you every time you close the software". Really, this should work too. But... discipline.
Cpapian - sorry I've hijacked your post and taken it OT. I sure do appreciate all of the tips I got!
