TASmart, I think you mean libtard... not libarard. I don't think either is insulting to people with developmental disabilities. What I do think is that people who use that word show their ignorance in a way no other word can possibly measure up to. You know immediately who those people are and what they stand for. They are generally know-it-all, low life bullies. Republicans use that word... yet most Republicans wouldn't lower themselves to use it.

AT the risk of a total derailment, libtard comes from talk radio combining liberal and retard. Retard is a grossly offensive word used to denigrate people with developmental disabilities. Thanks for the spelling correction though. Obviously, that is not a work in my common vernacular.

Yes, a grossly offensive word! And a person who would combine liberal and retard is a person with true developmental disabilities.

I also find the "libtard" word offensive. Mr know it all lost any chance of my ever listening to anything he had to say when he started throwing it around and throwing it as a direct insult. It sure as hell wasn't a compliment.
He's a nobody who desperately wants to be somebody important. Not worth reading his shit or responding to it. He's probably best added to the Foe list and/or quietly corrected if at all possible.
Like I have always said before with his type (and he isn't the first asshole to spout off about his "intellect" if it can be called that.....I only really worry about the newbies. The forum veterans can easily see him for what he is.

About all we can do is try to make sure he doesn't hurt someone or cause undue stress to someone new. That's my main goal anyway. There's no reasoning with him and no sense in wasting my time trying.

How can a person not realize just how utterly stupid this makes them sound... Clearly he doesn't need us around to put him down. He does just fine on his own.

OF all the forums on all the site on the whole internet and I have to find the one that the only "PhD, Licensed Engineer" that voted for Trump chose to haunt. What do you suppose the odds of that are?

Yeah..pretty high huh? Maybe you should go by a Powerball ticket...
Thank God Mr know it all wasn't here back last Sept and Oct before the election and all the political fighting crap that was going on.
I think people were ready to take out hit lists on some people it got so ugly.
But at least the bulk of the ugliness was confined to a handful of Off Topic political threads where they could duke it out to their hearts content.

does this mean that you can never afford the sleep study and due process to get your desired ASV?
... and that this board will be stuck with your rantings and ill advised crap for eternity?

If it would help I would be willing to donate to get you a proper treatment - even mentally if possible.

You really like the word "libtard" don't you? It's a made-up word, part of "urban slang" and not a real word. It doesn't help any of your arguments using it as often as you do. It makes you look silly and childish (notice that both 'silly' and 'childish' are real words).

"Bullies" being one of your other favorite words IS actually a real word. I guess one out of two isn't too bad.

I just couldn't resist after reading "libtard" over and over again. It's a pet peeve of mine - people that use made up words to make themselves look more intelligent and important than they are.

Okay - you wanted an example of how you said something that was 100% inaccurate and wrong - you got it.

Libtard is NOT in the following dictionaries:

Merriam-Webster
Oxford
Cambridge

Sorry, my dear. If it's not in those dictionaries, it is NOT a real word. It's a made-up word, part of urban slang.

See? Ask and you shall receive. You are dead wrong on your statement. Absolutely, undeniably, 100%, without a doubt - WRONG.

You'll come to realize there is no point arguing with this individual, unless you do it for entertainment. He is completely and utterly convinced in his own mind that he is in the right and everyone here is wrong. Nothing you can say will convince him otherwise. Funny how no one agrees with him or sticks up for him. But I guess that lesson is lost on him since people that have mental issues are rarely able to acknowledge that fact.
