You clearly don't understand what you claim to read. Just post one single of your so called "vetted sources". Might be a really good laugh if it turns out you read the manual from the titration devices and thought the "normal" device would do the same.

You only mentioned one single soource in your "newsletter - it's all crap" post. And that one you didn't even read and didn't even understood the comment in the summary. But you took that for "hard facts" and as someone was calling it out as it was; just crap; you claimed it was "a double blind study" and that they can't be wrong.

Calling you a troll really is an insult on all the real trolls out there. You need at least some rhetorical skills and a little bit of knowledge about the topic itself.

I think it is best to just ignore some posters, especially those who call anyone who disagrees or points out their lack of brilliance. It appears to me the word troll has become so overused that it is now pretty meaningless except as a general insult to through out over the internet when you disagree. The current definition of troll per the urban dictionary is:

"One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument"

Frankly, just because a person is so delusional that they post incorrect nonsense and cannot believe that all of the more experienced posters are right and they are wrong doesn't not make them a troll, only makes them a moron. Even worse, that same lost soul that calls everyone a troll for daring to disagree or point out the error in their citations (on the rare occasion a citation is offered) which makes them a maybe troll but a definite moron.

Troll goes to intent, moron is universal.

However I realize I am going against the group wisdom, but felt I had to say something, lest the term troll becomes too diluted to have meaning reserved for the real trolls.

Maybe we need an additional descriptive category to use for some people.....like "moron with troll like properties".

Or my personal catchall simply.... "he's an asshole". Pretty much covers everything. In private there's usually a couple of other rather colorful adjectives to go along with "he's an asshole".

It's hard to not feed the trolls/morons with troll properties/idiots that think they are geniuses/assholes by trying to reason with them (they can't be reasoned with and it's a waste of time and energy) or just in general not poke at them. Let's face it we all sometimes like to get a little jab of some sort in.

As to the person that I think you are referring to here...I think he is worse than a troll (in terms of the actual definition of a troll) but I have yet to figure out a really good proper name to call him besides asshole with several adjectives.

That's why I put him on my foe list. I only see his posts other people quote. In the two years I have been on the forum, I have only added two names to my Foe list, and eventually removed one of them when the person quit posting several times a day.
