Liam,

LAME EXCUSE FOR NOT COMING ALONG!!!! Not accepting this one, sorry. First off, this thread is in its infancy so we don't have a clue yet as to who will be coming or not coming other than those who have expressed an interest or have said they couldn't be there SO FAR.

Second, just because you don't "remember" too many who are going to be there, it will be an opportunity to meet new and interesting people who all share the common bond that we're all here on account of.

Third, IT WILL BE FUN!! Do you only go on vacations where you know everyone who's going to be there?

So stop making excuses and seriously consider joining the event.

Stepping off the old soapbox now so as not to break any ankles,

Lori

True, but what about the biggie: Joining a CPAP cruise when I don't use CPAP.

I learned that lesson the hard way after trying to qualify for the special olympics and finding out that a lack of social skills doesn't qualify.

Liam, who is honestly considering it, just not thinking it very likely.

My wife says I am cute, and I'm sure she'd agree with me that I can't dance.

I'll have to ask her if I'm single or not. Pretty sure not, but my first wife's departure came as a complete surprise, so you never know.

(Kidding, Janet and I are happier than my first wife and I ever were).

Liam, cute married non-dancer.

I'd think about going, if it weren't for that I would feel compelled to show off all my musical talents of singing, playing tenor saxophone, guitar, piano, and drums. I'm retired now.

Something tells me that the talent show is just begining. Let's see dancing...comedians...musicians...and we have not even seen the ships entertainment yet!!!!!!!

Liam, good point. We need to get the word out to all the oldtimers from the beginning. But I would say anyone that joins us that in some way is related to this forum...friends...family...posters and whomever, the more we get to commit, the better deal I can negotiate with the cruise line or resort.

I'd love to go, but there's no way I could afford it now, or would be able to afford it right out of college. Have fun, though, you guys.

Well college girl, let's see where it goes and what price. I remember those days well. But, there will be more trips in the future. And this is just the start of this kind of thing for us. I would like to see regional short trips in the future, kind of a get together.

Just out o&f curiosity, Rock and Roll, how many people have shown an interest to this point? I was thinking about taking a cruise in the near future anyway so this may just work out. I travel by myself sometimes but this would be cool to meet some cpapers.

Not bad at all. Again out of curiousity, what are the break points on something like this? If it's an industry secret I understand!!!!!

Does the savings stop at some point or is it the more you have the more you save?

Wow, that song is a flashback! Must have been I think 1975 and my dad was home from the Phillipines, I was I think 4, and he used to carry me up the stairs on his back singing that song, very off key I might add.

The more cabins we book the more break we get. Minimum to get a break is 8 and it keeps breaking at 8 though the break gets less as it goes up. But then they start giving us other perks the bigger we get.
