Here's a link from the forum search I just did on "politics". In various ways, it goes way back to near the beginning of the forum. The owners/providers of the forum believe in freedom of speech and are pretty lenient with allowing it. As others have said, read what you want, sort out the information from the "junk" and skip what you don't like.
It's pretty simple. You don't HAVE to read it. Virtually EVERY topic has been discussed on this forum MANY times over the years and can be found in the archives. For some, answering the same questions over and over can get to be pretty boring (when they've already been discussed) and sometimes different topics can be stimulating. In the end, we TRY to stay friendly with each other after the "silly season" is over and they get this stuff out of their systems.
As you can see, I didn't start this thread and wouldn't have. I didn't post to it until somewhere in the 8th page. But, being the opinionated SOB that I am, I don't shy away from a stimulating discussion.
