I like the idea, but i would recommend adding more..i.e. equipment, masks, accessories etc

I think that as long as Rested Gal is on the board, who needs categories. Her extensive collections of links on any particular would make excellent stickies. So, I could get behind having one additional category that contained only those sticky threads. People could post to them when they think something on the subject needed to be stickied and the originator of the thread could paste the links into the first entry.

Be careful of responding to these resurrections of old forums. I think it's a new tactic that spammers are using to minimize the chances of having their posts obliterated. That very well may not be the case here, but who knows?Mr Bill wrote:I think that as long as Rested Gal is on the board, who needs categories. Well *I* know, even if no one else does. THERE IS A FREAKIN' POLL IN THIS THREAD. When someone votes in the poll, it brings the thread to the top.idamtnboy wrote:Be careful of responding to these resurrections of old forums. Perhaps you would KNOW that if you hadn't deleted the previous post that explained that. You guys really need to get a grip.

I vote for 1 category per piece of equipment made, including parts, past and present. That shouldn't be too confusing.

Re: FORUM CATEGORIES - (Just hear me out…)
As a tech person who has been on many forums I must say that there is an absolute need for categories. I have done some searching here but the lack of organization makes it hard to find stuff and make this a good reference. I always fear I am just asking the same question someone else asked. I would have to vote NO on the above suggestions as I feel it is too limited.
I would recommend something like the following:
Surveys
General CPAP & Apnea Talk
CPAP Equipment
Masks
Humidifiers
Software
Other Equipment
Related Health Issues
Other - Unrelated
This would provide some good breakdown for finding info without requiring people to figure out a filing system. The forum already collects our equipment info, why not make categories for them. Most people have issues with specific equipment and want to find info anyways.

Re: FORUM CATEGORIES - (Just hear me out…)
Me too I think it would be a good idea to make categories and yes it's so much information in the forum after all those years that it's hard to find post even if they are not too old.
I would suggest the category ''Entertainment'' where people can go when they have nothing to do to post on all the subjects they will have the burning desire to write about, using their literary imagination, etc.
I just gave this link to a friend for her son whom is suffering from more than a year because of lack of good medical support. I wonder what this young man will think when he will come here now searching for serious and trustful information.
