For the mask leaks and red marks, you might try a mask liner. You can google "cpap mask liner" and buy something for your particular mask on line, or you can try making one from soft fabric like a tee shirt.

I made ours out of an old, well-used tee shirt. I have also made them out of knit paint rags I got at Lowes. The hole in the center allows your nose and mouth to show through. The hole can be enlarged as long as you leave enough material around the edges to go under the silicone seal.

you are looking good from those charts.

we don't sleep the same way each night, so don't worry too much about the variances.

unless the experts here say otherwise, i'd stay where you are for now. in my opinion, it looks like wednesday was best of the three because you had no central events. and these central events might not be "real" and could vanish over time as you get used to the therapy.

and you say you are starting to feel better. so i think that you are not only looking good, but doing good too!

btw, a loooong time ago, when the dinosaurs chase the covered wagons across the prairies, i owned a 1969 camaro. wasn't a "super sport" but a "rally sport".

So do you think my stuff is in the right area and am I on the right page. And for camaros I love camaros I wish I could afford a 69 ss I have a 02 camaro 35 anniversary one. I had a 25 anniversary one back in 1995 but I total that cause I was dumb and I closed the bars down and I was going out to a ex gf house and I didn’t make it there but that’s when I was young and dumb. Some of my thoughts:

It's been discussed here a few times, but I'm guessing you don't know for sure. But it sure looks like your apnea is worsened by REM sleep. In almost all of your charts, at regular intervals your Flow Limitations get very active and your pressure shoots up to address events.

Fortunately, this is precisely one of the situations that auto-adjusting are designed to address. We could keep bumping up your minimum, but that may not help while your in REM and at the end of the day, all we're doing is exposing you unnecessarily high pressure for 80% of the night to address REM events for 20% of the night.

Your machine is also in EPR mode only during ramp. You may want to use it all the time. This way it might be easier on you when the higher pressures are used.

This is what I would do:

I would bump my minimum pressure one more time to 13. Look for a few things, smaller AHI, less activity in the flow limitations, and less need for the machine to increase the pressure as high during what is presumably REM sleep.

If none of this happens, or happens minimally, then consider you might be approaching the point where an increased minimum pressure is just not worth it.

As far as turning EPR on full-time, I would also pursue that, but consider leaving that on the back-burner for now, changing more than one thing at one time can complicate things.

How are you doing with the red marks and chipmunk cheeks? Are you trying the chin strap?

I'm wondering whether you might try a little EPR at this point, but I defer to the experts on that.
