49er, the point is simply that an unregistered user swoops in, makes a one sentence first post that isn't completely logical (as others have pointed out) and then sits back and waits for the predictable dust up that follows. The OP of course is not heard from again.
It seems a bit like deja vu all over again.
I apologize; I thought that was fairly obvious.
Hmm, I have a different point of view. KWillia posted about being raped at a sleep center. You may feel there were holes in her claims but others with opposite point of view made good arguments why you may have been wrong.
Anyway, I failed to see what that had to do with a poster writing about his wife having negative feelings toward his pap equipment. It just seemed that you were taking an unfair shot at Kwillia which I realize is my perception and nothing more. And because she has quit posting on this board, it just seems like it is time to give that topic a rest.

I do understand and respect your point; I just see it the other way, which is to say that to me "her" stopping posting is a sure sign that I was right.
Admittedly, as you point out about your perception, that is nothing more than mine and could be right or wrong.
Old Dude,
She may have stopped posting out of concerns that continuing to do so would hurt her case. And even that wasn't an issue, because of the horrific responses she received, I would have quit posting also if god forbid that had happened to me.

I definitely would stop posting here if I was ever treated half as bad as she was. I am still undecided as to whether or not I believe her story, but there's no question in my mind that the way she was treated here was just ugly.

I would think she would rather have you alive than dead. That is the difference between wearing one and not. I would read her the statistics and see if "looking dorky" is still and issue. Or maybe u do need a new one........

So Jim, are you just
assuming she prefers that you don't use your CPAP? Are you figuring that because
you think you look dorky that
she thinks so too and is put off by it?
Heck, we all know we look dorky in our CPAP getup, and our spouses/partners know too. That doesn't necessarily mean they're unsupportive of our using the therapy.
Innocent until proven guilty, guys?
That premise is based on the supposition that husbands can't "read" their wives' "signals" and spoken or unspoken innuendos.
Men may never "understand" women, but they can sure interpret the signals they get from them.

I recall an embroidery design I have, waiting to be sewn up, stating "I'm aDORKable!" with a cute little character wearing thick black framed glasses.
As Bette Davis famously said, “Old age ain’t for sissies.”
I'm with the band.

If she ever mentions it just ask her to not sleep for a week and report how she feels. That should drive the point home.
