Hybrid excitement
I'm excited.
I followed the link from the graphics to RT Magazine but I could not find this article/product announcement. Wonder if it will become the mask of choice for titration?
Anyone have the URL for the article?

It isn't too surprizing and not good for first impressions. Often the people out front or answering the phones seem to know little about the companies they work for or the products being made. One does hope they are putting money into the problem solvers.
Faced with the choice between changing one's mind and proving that there is no need to do so, almost everyone gets busy on the proof.....Galbraith's Law
Anyone get the feeling healthnut, Datona and Jasper are all the same person promoting the mask? Not that it matters. Maybe it will be a great mask. If anyone here tries it, please give us the scoop.
Brasshopper, here's the RT magazine link:

Looks interesting, although i wonder how stable the part that goes in your
nose would be with any facial movements
Also looks like it would not be too friendly for those of us who have a little fur on our upper lip.
I'll probably buy one if the price is reasonable.
I have become a mask junkie I have 3 now and can think of at least 3 more I want to try.

Hybrid
I called Innomed customer service. They said that Hudson RCI distributes the Nasal Aire CPAP interface also, not just the critical care hospital version.
I saw the Hybrid on the Hudson RCI web-site. The photo is better than on RT magazine. It has nasal pillows!! Snork1 had remarked that InnoMed always designed nasal prongs that seal inside nares and it made the Nasal Aire so sensitive to correct sizing.
Now they have made a departure from that, pillows are a better choice for this kind of product. I can't wait to put it on patients in my 10 bed lab. Hope my experience is as good as this promises to be.
