Curiously, when I hooked up my old machine (simple bipap, seven years old) to this mask (8/11) it made no loud noise. Couldn't get it to seal, but no roar.

Wonder if the Anew would have the same leak problem as my full face FlexFit. The Flexfit is fine for leaking; unless I open my mouth in my sleep, in which case the fit changes. Then if makes the F noise and wakes me up. Tried falling asleep with my mouth open, but my nose was hurting too much to keep trying that route. I suspect the Anew won't hurt my nose, but I am not sure I can fall asleep with my mouth open. Please comment.

Maybe you just need a chin strap to keep your mouth closed.
