No longer needed - Found it!

Well nuts. I seem to have lost a power cord in the mess. Anyone have a spare power cord for the old Remstar Pro 2?

The cord is the same as the one that goes to a laptop power brick. I have a couple but you can probably find one cheaper than the postage to send it to you.

Not my laptop. That cord has three holes in it, and the one I want only has two. Well, I'll surf around online and see if anything comes up.

You mean my laptop? It has a brick. But the power cord that goes into it has three holes. At least I think it does. My memory of it tells me that. Don't make me go dig it out...

Which I just did, and I'm right. The power cord that goes into the brick has three holes to go into a three-pronged receptacle. Not the same configuration as the cord for the Remstar Pro 2.

Bought the cord that looks just like the cord I just packed up for James on Ebay just now.

So.... That's what I know!

I have one that has 3 prongs, all the other three use 2 prongs just like the Pro 2.

HA HA! It is highly unlikely that I will find the old one before the new one shows up.

HOWEVER, that doesn't mean it's not around here somewhere. If I do find it, I WILL ADMIT TO IT!

Now if only someone would turn me into "Hoarders" so I can get the house cleaned.

I FOUND THE POWER CORD!

And, amazingly, it was in a place I would expect it to be - in a zippered bag with some other cpap supplies. Now that zippered bag was at the bottom of a big pile of random crap, so I can understand that I couldn't find it.

But I also got the one from Ebay, so I'll put one in the zipper bag with the Legacy in it, and the other in the box with other random CPAP supplies. Just in case.

But if you hadn't gotten one from ebay, then you never would have found the old one. There's some law that applies there...just can't recall the name.

Used the PurSleep you sent. Interesting. I don't know if I'll continue using it, but for sure it will do a great job on Didgeridoo "bad breath"

a standard desktop power cord should fit it i have a old remstar pro as a back up machine

James, I fully believe you're right about that!! Soon as I whine about something, or buy a replacement on Ebay, the first one shows up!

The pure sleep can be used for many other things. Just putting some on a cotton ball and setting it around the house can be nice aromatherapy.

I had a cannula that I dug out that was stored in a bag with some puresleep and it's permeated with the scent. It's kinda nice, actually.
