"Oral interface", in most cases means the mask surrounds the mouth;
it doesn't have to be inside the mouth--like the Oracle.
If you removed the pillows from a Hybrid, and plugged the holes with Sugru, you would have an oral cushion mask.

I love my élan and use it exclusively. The small cushion was what it took for me to be really successful with it.

Hmmm, I don't know. Personally it looks like something they'd use in S & M bondage.
I don't love having a hunk of plastic strapped to my face, but I do appreciate that it's a CLEAR piece of plastic so I don't feel so claustrophobic (even when it's covered with a Padacheek liner, there are still clear areas.
There's a lot of straps and solid material attached to that mask. I bet it might feel OK, but it looks sort of frightening.

I'm also wondering how you would clean it?

Thanks Chunky and Stormy, points very well made.
The Circadian company must have certainly found success with some patients, and I'm glad they are out there. As Stormy mentions, her husband may have failed should this product had not been offered.
I will have to revisit this mask, thanks for the info!

Hi, I'm new here. My son has a bi-pap with his pressure at 25at the highest and 18 at his lowest. His pressures are so high that he gets a sore after just a couple of hours. Does anyone know if these cloth masks will work with pressures that high? Thanks for any help.

He might need a different mask if it's causing sores from rubbing. Another option would be to use a cloth liner between the mask and his face. Pad A Cheek makes a variety of mask liners. You may want to contact her.Frustrated mom wrote:Hi, I'm new here. My son has a bi-pap with his pressure at 25at the highest and 18 at his lowest. Re: COMING SOON: SleepWeaver® Anew™ Cloth FFM
It seems to me that the cloth masks work better at higher pressures.
