This one has clips. None of the other sleepweaver masks had clips. I always thought they should have had them on all of their masks.

I don't have to use a FFM... so far, anyway. But, for the people who do, this new SleepWeaver looks like the answer to many problems I read about here. I'm looking forward to reading the comments.

If anyone has a problem with rain out sleepweavers are wonderful. I wish they had put the clips on the other ones though.

I wonder how long it will be before cpap.com has them.

The repeated reference to an "oral interface" seems weird and kinda make me think there is a mouthpiece involved.

There is a video and it doesn't show one, I think the reason they call it an "oral interface" is because it is basically 2 mask one for the nose and one for the mouth, although the nasal part fills up with air with out being directly attached to the tubing. Maybe through the nasal passages????

This mask looks promising. I like the strap configuration. It looks fairly torque-resistant. Some of us will likely still need a chin strap to keep the jaw from falling. Here's a video of someone using the mask.

Though this mask, as well as all cloth masks, look very promising, I have yet to see anyone use them successfully.

I'm certainly not trying to rain anyone's parade, it's just that I have had dozens of people try them without any luck.

For those who do wear a cloth mask, it would be very interesting to hear how this is done and what the tricks are to using it.

Thanks in advance for any input you may have.

Jim; the secret to using a cloth mask is like piloting a hovercraft--on your face.
The straps need to be even looser than with a silicone mask, and adjusted in at full air pressure until the cloth "kisses" your face.
Exhale relief actually works against you; and I suspect that Sleepweaver nasal masks may work best with a single pressure,
although I have used my Elan successfully on tight range auto with an EPR of 2.
I have not worn it lately because my eyes have gotten too sensitive to the very small breeze that cannot be stopped.
Others have worn these mask for years.

I agree with Chunky for the most part but I have used the Elan with the ASV and it works great. That isn't fixed pressure at all. I did change my favorite to the wisp because of the clips. If they had put clips on the Elan it would still be at the top. I figured out how to not have it blowing in my eyes with someone else's tip. It is by far the most comfortable mask I have ever used. I admit that I don't have the vast knowledge of Sleepwell. I have only used the Sleepweaver masks and never sold them. I can see that they wouldn't work for everyone but I haven't heard of any mask yet that will. I just don't understand why anyone would dismiss a mask and say they had never heard of them being used successfully. All he would have had to do was read about it here on this forum. Here you will read both positive and negative about any mask.

My husband would never have gotten used to wearing a mask if not for having a sleepweaver. DME's would do better if they learned more about the different types of masks and how to properly fit them.

Rainout is never a problem with a cloth mask.

I've never had rainout with my quattro fx, quattro or the quattro air... I'm still mystified by the use of "oral interface".
