Plus...you are worth it. Remember "I'm worth it" commercial???

I splurged and got myself a Nespresso Pixie with Aerocinno milk frother machine last fall. My husband just rolled his eyes at me and with his being a truck driver and "real" coffee is not foo foo coffee (his words..foo foo) but you know what...he got to where he liked some of my concoctions and every now and then says "can you fix me one of your foo foo coffees" I always make it large and with double the coffee for him so he gets lots of coffee flavor with the "foo foo".

Mainly I use it for "coffee deserts" and just love it. Yeah, pricey but I am worth it. I pack it up and take it to family gatherings too. Always a big hit and so much fun.
Nutty Irishman is so far my favorite cappuccino. Found I didn't care for the mocha with chocolate all that much.

I drink enough coffee (or other warm drink) in a day that I need either a big brewer of some kind of the K-Cup system. I can barely hold a regular ceramic mug with a drink in it. When I make my afternoon coffee in a regular mug, I have to be so careful with it as I can barely hold it and drive my powerchair to the table to set it down until it cools.

I wish I could keep using my percolator. Unfortunately, my muscle weakness has progressed to the point that my attempting to hold a hot pot and pour it is DANGEROUS. And those little 2-4 cup drip makers are nice, but not when you drink as much coffee as I do.

I understand that some people are against K-Cups for a variety of reasons, but in my situation, it IS the best solution to allow me to have my coffee, at any time of the day (as long as my boys remember to keep the water reservoir filled, which they do) even when home alone, which I am A LOT.

Thank you, Pugsy. Coffee is my biggest "vice" and I think you're right -- I AM worth it.

I thought about getting a Nespresso machine. The drinks look SO good. But it wouldn't be worth it to me as I tend to stick to plain coffee 90% of the time. I've found some decent hot chocolate & cappucino in K-Cups and have those for those times I want something a little more sweet.

I also LOVE being able to brew a cup of tea when I'm not feeling well or at night when I need something a little more relaxing. Just being able to say "I think I'll have this," pop it in the brewer and grab a cup -- and that's it.

Yeah, I'm worth it.

The reason people who drink coffee are less likely to commit suicide is that if you drink enough coffee you have the jitters so bad you can't hold the gun steady.

I like the LOL Mini-Moo's half and half' but when I splurge, I buy heavy whipping cream--and I use plenty of it.

I don't make my own. I have neither the time nor sufficient caffeine consumption to learn. However, my recent misadventures with beta blockers (courtesy of my neurologist prescribing too high a dose) led to me being reminded of how tasty some of my local espressos are.

I was advised by one of my doctors to consume coffee in an attempt to increase my heart rate (you mean it isn't supposed to be 41?) as I recovered from the beta blockers. That didn't take too long, as I took a grand total of two doses before my family doctor took me off of them.
