Sick of the Machine - Need a Cause, Need a Cure

I realize the abject lust of allopathic medicine is to treat a symptom or symptoms without ever finding a cure, since this is a profit-based industry it keeps people coming back for life just to treat a symptom.

Most people, oddly, seem OK with that...But I am not. My CPAP mask is destroying my life, not helping it.

See, the CPAP machine is only treating a SYMPTOM... oddly, doctors don't seem to care at all about the CAUSE of Central Sleep Apnea...never seem to Question why it appears to only be a modern disease, not reported in medical science in history. None of them seem eager to find a CURE.

I was diagnosed in 2004 (after years of living a homeless, totally ruined life because of it) before medical science knew what Complex Sleep Apnea was (in 2007), and so I've used my CPAP for a long time...I'm not a newbie. I still don't sleep worth a darn.

I am sick of 'Mask Face'. I cannot go outside for an hour or two after waking up, my face if horribly deformed and takes time to "get normal."... this I cannot live with. It's not only trapping me in my home for the first hour or two after waking but the whole thing, machine and all, is making it IMPOSSIBLE for me to attract a mate, start a family, etc.

Anyone else want a cure for this nonsense instead of just treating the symptom(s)?

I noticed that this problem, in myself and society, seems to have started around the time Cell Phones began to be put into large operation, around the mid 90's. I even get close to a cell phone for any length of time and my heart begins to race, so they do have a physical effect on us.

At this time I'm putting the focus on Cell Phone Radiation as the cause of most central sleep apnea. Sadly, even though I refuse to own/use a cell phone, the vast amount of this wi-fi/cellphone/microwave radiation in our atmosphere is clearly having negative effects. I'm going to experiment with EMF blocking fabrics and materials in order to build a sleep "tent" that will block out 100% of the unnatural energies we produce today.

Anyone know of any CURES? I'm not interested in using this machine any longer, it's already showed to me an ugly, untold side effect of using CPAP machines...they cause the person to be dependent on the machine heavily, more so than before starting, to where any sleep at all is impossible with out. Typical Allopathic medical industry ploy...develop dependence without offering a cure. My CPAP machine does not help my central sleep apnea.. there are machines that claim to do this but the greater dependence they would create on them scares me and I don't trust the motives or the people involved in the allopathic medical establishment.

I want a cure. I can't be the only one. Lets start talking about what is CAUSING this. Lets start talking about CURES...not just symptom treatment that keeps big pharma companies in fat profits.

Something changed in our environment, more people have central apnea now than ever before ..complex sleep apnea was not even in existence in medical science until 2007..so clearly this is a modern disease...how come nobody is doing the detective work to connect the dots?

IF you want a cure, if you want answers, lets talk. If you are just a vaccine damaged, fluoride head, TV watcher that thinks your doctors is your best buddy..don't bother.

Just because Complex Sleep Apnea was not mentioned in medical texts until 2007 does not mean it didn't exist until then. How about you do the detective work?

Sort of getting an image of a tinfoil hat to avoid EMF...I'm sure it must be from something I ate.

I'm sure that we'd all like root cause solutions rather than treating symptoms...got any? Until then, treating symptoms is as good as it gets.

If this is your only complaint it sounds like you are Sick of Apnia.

What product are you selling?

There is a cure, but most people don't like a hole in their throat. I'll keep my cpap machine for now.

I'd rather use my machine; a night of pleasant bondage beats the heck out of hours annoying the neighbors
with feeble attempts to produce aboriginal music.
Tinfoil hats are too noisy, Mylar is too hot, and either would get me fitted for custom restraints.)

There are plenty of conditions with no cure. I do not find it evil that modern medicine seeks to relieve the suffering even if the cause cannot be eliminated.

For instance, there are medications that can control pathological paranoia. Or tinfoil ... tinfoil works, too.

It's obvious you have the wrong machine, wrong mask, wrong pressure settings and definitely wrong attitude! You can get help here if you're willing to open your "listening ears". We have "experts" here who have your diagnosis and receive excellent therapy. It's worth a try!

Sometimes the cause is right under our nose; my friend's central apnea went away when he STOPPED DRINKING.

I recently read somewhere that humans are the only animals who get disruptive sleep apnea. This is because when our early ancestors came down out of the trees and stood upright, gravity tended to pull the larynx further down in the throat. We eventually learned how to make complex sounds with our relocated vocal cords and over time the upper airway passages got narrower to help accommodate the wide range of sounds we needed to communicate effectively. This narrowing process is the main reason for OSA. One could almost say that sleep apnea is the price we pay for being able to walk upright and speak. For a cure, maybe we could go 'devo', that is, drop down on all fours and stop talking

I had my sleep problems long before cell phones were in general use. It got worse after I hit 50 (and gaining a few pounds probably didn't help either). When I told a fried of mine I was starting CPAP he snorted that CPAP was just a racket--that if people did more physical labor there wouldn't be a problem. He said "If you shoveled a couple of tons of coal a day, you wouldn't have any trouble sleeping." I told him that was probably why there is a problem now--people don't have the option of shoveling a couple of tons of coal a day--not that I really want to anyway. The poster reminds me of the mindset of a lot of people in this world. If they have a problem they believe someone should solve it without causing them any inconvenience. Well, folks, that ain't the way this world works--in fact it has never worked that way. Solutions to tough problems usually require some sacrifice. You may not think that's fair, but that's life. Get over it.
