APAP pressure variation after range adjustment

Post by ba7796 » Sat Jun 08, 2013 10:38 am

Original prescribed adjustment was 8 to 14 cm; and the 90% pressure recorded was 8; 8.5 and 9 cm. After 45 days Doctor changed the range to 4 to 14 cm; now the 90% is 4 and 5. Since I had 9 cm at some occasions, I was expecting a lower pressure but still closer to 9 cm. Do you think my F & P ICON is wrong? Thank you so much.

How do you feel after the change?

What was your AHI before and after the change?

Most people feel a little suffocated at a pressure of 4 or 5. Watch your data carefully and notice how you're feeling.

Why did the doctor think your pressure needed to be lowered? What issues were you having?
