Sleep study report

Post by Guest » Sun May 26, 2013 12:08 am

This is the sleep study report I got. As I mentioned, I don't have an appointment with a doctor to actually discuss it until mid-August, but my oral surgeon got so worked up about that that she's now re-referring me to another sleep doctor, so I'll probably get it professionally explained to me sooner than that. Nonetheless, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. Is there anything particularly odd about this? Or is this a pretty typical case? In the grand scheme of things, how severe does it look?

They scored your AHI at 18.5, so I would expect a recommendation for titration study to determine effective CPAP pressure.

Your O2 stats were similar to mine - not horrible but you did get down into the 80s for about 2% of the night, which is not favorable, but certainly not life-threatening.

There's lots of interesting data about your sleep architecture too, like how long it took you to get to sleep (19.6 mins), etc.

Someone else please jump in on the 7 Centrals that were observed - I am not familiar with how those are dealt with.
