Titration Study Tips

Thanks for the tips!!!!! i'm leaving for the hospital in about an hour and a half for my titration study- still need to walk the doggies. How do you like "under the dome" - I bought it awhile ago but still haven't started it

Just now getting caught up with this thread. That is great news! Here's hoping your leak issues are all behind you. Can't wait to hear what you boss says next!

As far as cleaning, I just use some baby wipes w/o alcohol or aloe for the pillows. Finding wipes without alcohol is easy, w/o aloe, not so easy. But look around they are out there.

Not if my machine is doing it's job. I am simply more comfortable on my back vs. side sleeping. More comfort = better sleep.

He is using an APAP range, so if he sleeps on his back and has more events, he may notice his machine going to higher pressures to deal with those events, pressures it might not go to if he slept on his side. But as long as he doesn't experience too many arousals due to higher pressures, aerophagia or chest soreness, he should be fine. His reports will show how high the pressures go and how much time he spends there.

John - its a good read but it took me a while to get into it due to how many characters he introduces early in the book.

Yeah, funny thing is I do not have aerophagia or any soreness when I sleep supine, but I have noticeable aerpophagia when I side-sleep. I get rid of it by the time I'm done with my morning hygiene, but ... just sayin.

I was also surprised my pressure didn't go higher last night as I was supine all night.
