I have been using CPAP for one month and I am averaging 6 hours of use a night. It is going well but I don't like the mask. I am looking to change from a mask to a pillow type system. Two that I am looking at are the Viasys Lyra and the Respironics Comfort Lite.
I am interesed in hearing about the experiences of anyone who has used these interfaces.
Thanks Paul
Lyra and Comfort Lite Interfaces - Who has tried them?
Comfort Lite
I am just beginning to use a Comfort lite. I really like it. The headgear is lite and does not touch my face (forehead only). I like the nasal pillows and it also comes with a mask similar to the Simplicity (which I have been using for 2 years). You get 2 sizes of masks and 2 sizes of pillows with the headgear so you can select which is best. It slips on and off like a baseball cap and kind of feels like a baseball cap when it is on your head.

Lyra
I tried the Lyra recently. Didn't work well for me. I found it to be leaky and noisy. Might be fine for someone else, but not for me. The Breeze has been (and still is) my favorite nasal pillows interface, by far.
Hey Paul ....What mask are you using ?
I've been on Cpap (actually BiPap) for over 5 years. Finding a mask that "totally works" for you is sometimes a painful and expensive venture. Every face/head is different. What works for one may not work for another.
For me..........the Ultra Mirage is a good mask. I flip flop between the Mirage and the Activa. ResMed seems to do a good job in the development of "Patient Friendly" masks.
Good Luck my Friend
