Most majority of people polled own more than one machine. The non bilevel users are on APAP mode with ramp turned off and exhale relief on or CPAP mode with ramp turned off and exhale relief on.

That is what the results say....
I still say.."who cares how many machines people have?" . Why is that important?

A lot of people (you I assume) do NOT care and it's really NOT important. But somebody was obviously curious and people, who either care or find it interesting - are replying.

The poll isn't offensive or anything.

I'm curious why it bothers you so much that you've felt the need to criticize it, twice, in barely one page of replies.

I have one. Would like to have a 2nd to take with for overnites with grandkids. Right now though, costs are prohibitive.

I have six also and have no intentions of selling any of them. The cost of all six of machines was so small. I sure miss CPAPauction which is where all but the first one came from.

Calm down bro. If you don't like the poll, you are still welcomed to any defective cupcakes.

What a cute puppy, Madalot!

OK, I understand. And I see that the Trilogy doesn't appear to be available for direct sale. Now might be a good time to look in to what would happen if you DID lose your insurance, though ... certainly a better time than when it is pressing.

Yeah, but I have a sneaking suspicion the DME would work with me. They bought out my original DME and the transition (with me) was a cluster-you know what from the beginning. They were astounded at all the problems and issues I had. It was a raging nightmare.

They've expressed gratitude that I stuck it out and let them get things straightened out. I don't think they'd come in and just take it from me.

This is a fair question. I would guess most newbies like me have one machine and those who've been hoseheads for awhile will have two or perhaps even more. Ten years down the road, I would guess I have at least three machines, my original Autoset and an upgraded model every 5 years. There's nothing newsy or special about having only one or having many, just an interesting poll, IMO.

I actually have one, but I voted 2 because I have a S8 from a neighbor who has convinced himself that he can sleep on his side and eliminate his apneas.

He was just getting rid of it and gave it to me. I did tell him the machine will be here when he needs it...

...however I really do wish him success as it will make a great backup.

6 months on the hose and I have one machine & one humidifier.

I'm saving my pennies to be able to afford a back-up for my S9 Vpap auto machine

maybe Santa will give me one this Christmas
