Someone else will buy the brand name and be making them again before you know it.

It’s no mystery here that I’ve been critical of many of Obama’s policies, however, I have spoken out when he has been unfairly characterized or treated by the right-wing media or absurd wing-nuts (some of whom post on this blog) in a variety of ways which contradict each other, and NONE of which Obama is: Liberal, Marxist, Communist, Socialist, A Muslim, anti-American, not American, gay, traitor, Usurper, an Enemy of America, a Racist, a Narcissist, a Liar, and on and on. In an alphabet of lies from the right I posted, I’ve said this fact once, I’ll say it again. The only reason the party of hypocritical louts choose to call Barack Obama a Marxist, Communist, Muslim is for the sole purpose that they cannot call him what they really want to call him, and that is NIGGER!

One of my favorites. Was a union coal miner for 25 years, 16 tons don't cut it, I hauled 150 ton loads of overburden @ 30 load a shift, retook pride in doing job correctly. We literaly moved mountains reclaimed the land for new uses. We may not have loaded 16 tons by hand, but we had the same pride in our work. Unions get a bad rap, some might deserve it, but for my money, I'll take a union worker first, they have the training and pride that built our country. If business owners treated their employees fairly and with respect, Unions wouldn't be wanted or needed. Jim

It's a FACT and there's an abundant amount of proof going back to the original platform in the organization of the Democratic party.

So why don't the Red States secede and form their own RSA? It would substantially reduce the federal budget!

It is also not a secret that when Republicans are in office; Reagan, Bush Sr.,  Bush jr…they spend the most and run up the most debt, blowing cash like drunken sailors, sabotaging America’s economy, knowing that when the Democrats hold office, the cry from the Republicans would change to be a deafening one to reduce federal spending. They are nothing but hypocrites and downright liars.

Conservatives have been well known for voting against their own interest and unknown to them, if they are successful in voting-in their conservative political figures, the first programs to be cut or whittled down are the same ones that these conservative states depend on to feed their citizenry. Apparently conservative voters have not yet connected the dots to figure out that Democratic states who are paying more and getting back less are in fact the ones responsible for supporting the real welfare states…the Red states.

In other words the Republican and Conservative citizenry owe their very existence to the Democrats they pretend to hate so much… the Democrats who put food on their Conservative tables and who keep the roof over their Republican heads.

This reminds me of the old saying, ‘Be careful what you wish for’ and I for one would have loved my hard earned taxes to go to some more deserving Blue states. But the good book says we should be charitably to the least of us and their actions do show they are the least of us, especially when it comes to their willingness to hate others in one way or another–for one religious reason or another–and their gullibility and nearsightedness while listening to and believing the lies of their Republican politicians, who tout that a fictitious ‘freedom’ is worth depriving women, immigrants and the downtrodden of the dignity and respect they deserve.

This is one of those cases where the left will blame the executives for not paying uneducated people $70K a year to watch a machine as it squirts filling into little cakes, and the right (in which I proudly include myself) will blame the unions for stupidly driving the company into the ground. And, in this case, there's more than a little truth to BOTH sides.

One of the biggest problems in America today is corporate ethics. Gone, apparently, are the days of companies reinvesting their profits into their companies to expand, update facilities, improve products, and hire, train, & give raises to employees. IMO few things in this country will improve until that changes (and I don't know how it ever will, but I can say with full confidence that politicians won't cause it to happen). But perhaps we should stop and ask how that trend got started, and what has driven it to become the norm over time. Personally, I think it has a lot to do with simple upbringing. But I also think it is due in part to the behavior of unions over the past 70 years.

Your opinion will vary and that's OK, because it won't change mine.
