Hello
I used a snorban dental device in my mouth along with a chin strap for five years or so. It cost about $30.00 on the snorban.com website. They used to advertize that they helped sleep apnea but the last time I checked they just mentioned snoring. It usually did a good job of keeping my mouth sealed so that I did not breath or leak air. It did another important thing. It helped kept my jaw forward so that my airway was more open during sleep. I had an operation a number of years ago to move my tongue forward so it is good not to let a chin strap push it back. I cannot use the device right now because I am in the middle of getting some dental implants so I have been taping with a nasal mask or using a full face mask.

The item is $3.99, but the shipping is an additional $9.90
That's why I'm ordering mine from overseas!
What about the extra SH cost?

p.s. to stop your creature from jumping I can click the escape key instead of putting you on my foe list. Isn't it nice?

How would you fix this chair (I fell on it):

Image

Gluing on the back is not enough, how about a 2 1/2" # 10 flat head screw into the back leg?
The chair was made in Indonesia.
I don't know if you have the tools or know someone that does woodworking. If it was me I would make a new streacher,(the piece that is busted out beside the seat) and replace it, the rest can be disassembled and glued back together.
you might get away with taking the busted piece off and use gorilla glue and clamp it till it drys, then reassemble the rest.

[quote="kaiasgram I also ordered three of 'em (shipping doesn't go up when you order >1) because as the sleep tech said in his video demo, you might overboil or somehow botch one so it's good to get more than one. If this thing works, then I can order from overseas and wait a little longer.[/quote]

Eagerly awaiting your experience with it once you get them.

Just get a cervical collar- it will keep your mouth shut with no teeth or jaw pain. Works great.

You don't get too hot in that?

Never- it is breathable and washable. I have tried chin straps before and this beats them all. Your throat feels snug. You can adjust the tightness. Walgreens has one for $15- 1 size fits all.

Very nice work! I think you can handle the chair repair! i left a couple of comments for ya. The coffee table was that maple? Couldn't quite pick up the grain on the pic. Eyes not as good as they used to be!

Thanks for the suggestion, If the mouth guard doesn't work, I'll look into this! Might even help me to not go to the Chiro as often.

If you mean this coffee table then the aprons are oak and the black painted legs are maple. This is my own design. Feel free to imitate it. It starts with getting the glass top first.

Thanks for looking.
I didn't see that one before, it was this one that I was talking about.

That Coffee Table is made of cherry wood and heavy gel stain. See more of my wood projects here:

So, who's carving the maple mouth guard?
Or was this a hijacking?
