I don't need to be wired each time with EKG or to have a full stress test each time I exercise to constantly monitor other things about my heart rhythm. The $20 watch does fine for what I am using it for. The information is very valuable to me for what it is. A runner might use such a device for a race, even though he knows the device will not give his official time for a race and will not let him know the exact health condition of his heart.
That comparison is not accurate. Rather, it should be "A runner uses a Nike+, and you shove a stick into the ground and HTF the sun comes out".

I disagree. Sheikh recently posted 50% REM via Zeo. What good is that?

Just to clarify.... Yes, I think the Zeo's differentiation between ACTIVE REM dreaming and the awake state sucks. There have been hours-long sessions when I was dreaming up a storm and it showed awake.

That said, I think the deep sleep and light sleep accuracy is pretty good. It will depend on the person, but based on my breathing patterns, I would say it is at least 70-80% acccurate.

Also, Zeo seems to be accurate when reporting SHORT wake-ups of 5-10 minutes throughout the night.

The benefit to me is striving to have a "near-perfect" night when there is 15% deep sleep and at least 40% light sleep reported. If everything goes well, I can get there, but it is very fragile. A poor night will kill much of the deep sleep and a lot of the light sleep on Zeo. Left remaining is a lot of REM and awake NOISE...

Based on this, deep and light sleep seems worth the effort to track and tells the real story. IE, I sometimes have a night that looks beautiful on the Adapt or PR AutoSV data - but Zeo says was it filled with noisy REM - and I feel like crap and all beat up, the next day.

OK, so on the heels of the Sales Slogan for Provent:

"Provent: It's Better Than Nothing!!"

comes the Ad Campaign for Zeo:

"Zeo: When It Works, It Does!!"

Well I just noticed something interesting!

This topic has only 1914 views in 22 days!!

In contrast to the most recent Post About Nothing, which generated over 1000 views in under 24 hours!!

Not that I am shallow (j/k!), but this does not feed my overwhelming need for Pop-u-lar (#27 on the List of My Faults).

I cannot be seen in the company of

So % does matter for something.
