Thanks for the suggestions for using ad blocker, that hadn't occurred to me. At least it isn't a cockroach, which were the first ones of these that I saw on the internet...freaked me out over 15 years ago, I still remember it *smile*. That's impact.

Anyways, my opinion is that it's your bug, you're free to have your pet bug, just like I'm free to block it because I find it distracting and it consumes too much space. If you could get it to crawl on your actual message instead of as an attachment, I'd have to reconsider *smile*.

Have a nice day.

I had originally typed in "saliva", but decided "mucus" was funnier.
Some words just sound icky . . .

If yer gonna pick on somebody, avi123, please pick on me instead. After all, I actually AM a little full of myself and try to have an influence on tone now and then, which would make me MUCH more guilty of self-appointed moderation. Of course, I mostly do it just to be irritating on purpose, so it's OK.

In fact, now that we're on the subject, here is my attempt right now at self-appointed moderation: DUDE! PLEASE LEAVE PUGSY ALONE!!

OK. Whew! All done now. Man, my trying to overtly moderate for that spit second in that one sentence seems to have left me all tuckered out. I hope I never try that again. Besides, not enough money in it.
Yes but that's just because you play guitar.

Hey lazer, you sure know how to make a splash! Who knew your little animated bug cold stir such a lively exchange?! I understand visually sensitive folks might prefer it not be there and I can support that, but I have to tell you that the first time I saw the bug crawling around I thought it was on my monitor -- then I thought it was IN my monitor ! I couldn't figure out how it could get inside there. That gave me the first good laugh I'd had in a long time since my struggles with the hose began. So even if you remove it, thanks for the laugh.

Pugsy, I am sorry that I suspected that you were the one who contacted Caroline Goodman, about my deletion of Lazer's post with the four animated bugs in it.

jnk, are you the one who deleted my post with a photo of this fellow with Rested Gal?

It's your bug, do what you want with it.

It doesn't bother me after I figured out that it wasn't really a bug on my monitor. I really hate bugs. America is still the land of the free so do what makes you happy,

Pugsy as a self-appointed moderator is insanely funny. She is the least pretentious person I've ever "met" and I would go as far as to say she is the glue that holds this forum together. Can you tell we love you, Pugsy!

I don't even bother to delete spam anymore.

For the record, though, that guy has my personal, unreserved, full vote for assistant moderator to Johnny et al. if we ever end up needing one to delete posts that are obviously only meant to be disruptive and rude and mean-spirited and trollish. Just sayin'.

Some days I think I need to put myself on my own foe's list so I don't have to read what I've written.

I almost spit out my cereal! I ignore Lazer's bug the same way I ignore Avi's posts although that bug is kind of cute if you stare at it long enough. I do remember that someone a long time ago had a motion problem and kindly asked the member to change his avatar, there was no problem doing so.

I don't know if my problem is IQ or computer literacy. Probably IQ - I do have a doctorate in computer science.

I tried to Google for ABP, and for various guesses at expanding the initials. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of popular material that did not seem to be relevant. Perhaps for those of us who are IQ and/or computer literacy challenged you could post more information about how to do the blocking.

Ya know, your bug is not exactly my favorite... but since Avi doesn't like it, I definitely think you should NOT take it down!

Of course, I don't have to worry about Avi seeing this because he put me on his Foe list about a month after I joined the Forum. LOL! Gee, I was so upset! LOL!

Hey - as long as your bug stays out of my cpap hose - then we're good to go!
