When in doubt, open the case. Remember: If you can't open it, you don't own it!

Prescribed APAP range - 6-10 cm/H2O, titrated at 8.
Current range - 9.0-11.5 cm/H2O - still searching for the magic "zero night" but averaging 2.2 AHI

The doctor said to go -- GO, PLEASE! Your sister will have a lot more to worry about if something happens to you because of not taking care of yourself. Can you take your sister to the hospital with you? Or do you have a neighbor or friend who can sit with her while you're unable to take care of her? NOTHING is a hgher priority right now than you getting this checked out immediately. I'm sure most of us who are aware of your situation would like to come get you and forcibly DRAG you to the ER immediately. PLEASE, GO !!! For yourself and your loved ones!

Looking back at BCampell's previous posts going back to 2009 s/he does not appear to be a "troll."

maybe not a troll but the way the story is evolving, it's starting to fail the smell test. i'm starting to disbelieve all of it.

if he's gone from the sister to go do dogs he could be gone from the sister to go to the er. he said he's a mobile groomer. he mentioned going home. he failed to think of that while making up why he wouldn't go.

I agree it's getting more and more unbelievable that after having the doctor tell him to go to the ER, he would still choose not to go. I was still holding out for the possibility that he is so scared of what he might find out if he goes to the ER that he's telling himself stories about why he can't really go -- i.e., big time DENIAL. Either way, we've done everything we can do. I hope if his story is true that he will wake up and do what needs to be done.

if the denial was that big, he wouldn't have even started a dialog. he didn't really say the doctor called like that. he said it more as a way to get past what i had said about waiting for the doctor.

Ok. Let's set this straight I am. Not a troll!
I am a she not a he
I didn't mean to start anything you don't know me at all
I am a widow who works her ass off to take care of a sister with heart failure
I have NO health Insurance and even though I know I need to go and
Wish for my own peace of mind I could go I have to think if I am in enough
Pain the start another set of bills I can't pay
I worked all day and I am ok a little tired and short of breath but ok
You try driving around in a huge Van all day and do what I do ! I bet most people
Can't do what I do! I am tough and I will be fine
Sorry I said anything or upset anyone. I can delete my account if
It will make you happy
I do what I do because I have NO choice!
If it happens again I will go

Agreed. Please notice there was much more concern than skepticism in our responses to your situation. You're right that we don't know all the facts of your situation, still the overriding message was one of great concern. Please stick around and check in again. The occasional barbs and insensitive comments are far outweighed by the support and good will of the people here. Best wishes with all you are carrying.
