DoriC, you and Mike are in my thoughts. It is sometimes amazing what can come through in an online community and what has come through loud and clear to me is that you and Mike are a real life, real love story. I am not sure those stories are all that common. I wish you peace and will be keeping you and Mike in my thoughts.

Well, I'm a little encouraged today, Mike is doing better in rehab and they're going to try him on a walker tomorrow to use in his own room. He's been doing very well with the walker with a therapist walking beside him. He's staying awake longer during the day and seems to be taking more of an interest in what's going on around him. I'm going to bring a laptop to him tomorrow so hopefully he'll want to play some of his games. I have a question. I'd like to take his card out of the S9 that he's using and bring it home tomorrow to download the data, so can I just insert a new generic card I have to record tomorrow night's data? If not I'll just have to lose that night's data. I get there after 12noon so I can't get any data off the screen. Thank you all for your continued support, I tell Mike he's got lots of friends pulling for him and he smiles sweetly.

Great news, Dori!! You should be able to use another SD card, although my machines have sometimes been finicky and occasionally they don't like the SD card and the only way I can get it to accept it is to erase all the data. If he sleeps without the SD card one night, it's not too big a deal, as you'll just lose the detailed data, but not the summary data.

Bump -- We haven't heard anything in a few days. If Dori sees this, she'll know she's still in our thoughts.

Dori - Are you aware that if you push the 2 rectangular buttons on the S9 and hold them down until you see the screen flicker, you can see the detailed data? If "1 day" is displayed, you can see all of the detailed data for the previous night (even if it is after noon and no longer displayed on the other screen). Once you get that screen, if you press once on the big round button, you can then use that button to scroll down and see all of the AHI breakdown data. You can change the "1 day" to "1 week" etc to see averages.

Continued best wishes to you and Mike.

Glad to hear Mike is doing better.
To check last night's data after 12 noon...
Press and hold the INFO and SETTINGS buttons for 3-5 seconds.
Then scroll down one to SLEEP REPORT.
Click once, it should be on 1 DAY, scroll down to see the pressure, LEAK and AHI.

Hi, will update Mike's condition later, he's doing better, but about the machine the sleep report hasn't changed since the first night so something's screwed up but I was able to see the screen before 12 today, AHI=10, Mr Frowny Face. I took the card home to d/l and leaks are off the wall. Mike says he's leaking all night, he can't fix the mask and the nurses just tighten it so much he's too uncomfortable. I've tried to show some of them how to fit it but there's new nurses all the time. I'll speak to the head nurse tomorrow, hes' not sleeping well this way so something has to be done. Thanks for not forgetting us. You're all the best!
