I use to snore so loudly that I did not saw logs, I decimated entire Forests...
Before CPAP, I slept out in the living room floor for almost 13 years (well, I had convinced myself that it was really sleeping, but... ). Even then my wife would have to close the door to the bedroom on most nights to get to sleep and stay asleep. It wasn't until the OSA got really bad and joined up its loud gasping with the bad snoring, that she pleaded with me to do something so she didn't have to come out some morning and find me dead.
Thursday of this week will be 92 days on the hose and I honestly still can't explain to her (or myself) what I was afraid of or what took me so long to do what had to be done to stop my downward death spiral and finally start getting my life back.

One time a cop pulled me over for running a stop sign. He said, "Didn't you see the stop sign?" I said, "Yeah, but I don't believe everything I read." -- Steven Wright
