Sources for Quality Hose Hangers
Re: Sources for Quality Hose Hangers
Big on the Hose Buddy from cpapdotcom. I do like Bert's and I'd like to get one before my next vacation trip. Wish I was creative - that's great!

A small cup hook above your head is a great idea. There are available wire supports that will hold the hose above head level as well.... they work well when travelling. I have taken the route of:burlyblack wrote:I put a small cup hook into the wall above my head and restrain the tubing with some elastisized chord about 1/8" in diameter. I always have a length of chord and duct tape in my travel bag. In a motel, I take the picture off the wall and use the picture hanger. I hope this is what you were refering to.
(a) I use a simple velcro computer cable tie attached to a pocket ID clip (made several of them with a borrowed pop rivet tool) and when at home I simply clip one to a large book on the headboard or onto a simple wire cup hook embedded in the wall. Works perfectly.
(b) When travelling I take with the wire support and one of the clips... use either this or just the hook/velcro assembly and whatever is handy, even clamping the hose to a good solid bedside lamp at times. It leaves no marks. Where we have one of those stupid headboards that are fastened to the wall we use ducttape.
The key is to get the hose above your head and this will do two things; firstly it cuts back on rainout and secondly it allows you to roll around in bed without getting all tangled up in hose hopefully.
Cuphook.... great idea.

Fall colours. One of God's gifts. Life is fragile and short, savour every moment no matter what your problems may be. These stunning fall colours from my first outing after surviving a month on life support due to H1N1.

The head of my bed is positioned a couple of feet from the wall. I center the CPAP machine on the floor at the head of the bed. For a hose hook, we screwed a long hook into the wall and hung a bunji cord from it. It took less than a half hour. It cost nothing b/c we had the two items in the house. The only power tool we used was our hands.
