Will most definitely check into the suggestions.... what tape should I use? and do I put it at the ends/connectors?

Suggestions were F4 Tape, VetTape, duct tape and silicone.... Not too keen on the duct tape though... after awhile the adhesive starts to look weird, but then again they do make it in colors lol

If it were me, I would use any of the self stick tapes. I'm not familiar with the F4, or 3M VetRap. I think the Vetrap can be found at most per stores and I know they also use it on humans (as I have done do as a pressure bandage) so you may find it at your drug store too.

F4 tape is waterproof, can be taken off and reapplied, it is not sticky but kind of a self sealing silicone

After reading this I pulled my hose off and saw that sure enough, there were stress marks on the hose where it connects to the machine. I gave both ends a good wrapping with vet wrap to stiffen them up. For the price we pay for those things they shouldn't have known defects. I'm lucky I hadn't already sprung a huge leak the way my hose bends.

If you have continual connection problems, check the three gold pins in the back of the humidifier that connect to the hose. They should all be of the same length. If one looks short, it's partially jammed and will give intermittent connections. No cure unfortunately, just send it back and get a replacement.
