Will EncorePro work on a Linux desktop?

NICE! UBUNTU is awesome. I am thinking of switching my SUSE machins over to it.

I use Novell Linux Desktop, with vmware 5 on it. I have Novell Netware servers, Suse Linux servers etc as images in vmware and boot them up as needed. I run my EncorePro in a vmware image with Windows 2000 server on it.

I am very pleased with the performance and speed of the software.

When I installed VMware Workstation 5.5.1 it also installed VMware Player. After setting up the VM in Workstation I can run it in Player and it seems to use a lot less resources. I haven't tried hooking up the card reader in Player yet though. Maybe later today or tomorrow I'll have time to play with it
