Remstar Pro 2 With CFLEX---DATA?

Post by slumberer » Fri Jan 20, 2006 5:40 pm

What data will the Remstar Pro 2 w/CFLEX record on the Encore software? Is it the same data as the Remstar APAP?

See viewArticle/Encore-Pro-Respironics-CPAP ... Derek.html

I have the machine you reference and use Encore Pro and MyEncore to get reports from the Smart Card. Very helpful.

See my latest post on this topic; viewtopic.php?p=59786#59786 and click on the link for an example of one Encore Pro report for the REMstar Pro II.

Thanks, Jerry

You links were very helpful! Right now I am trying to decide if I want to purchase an Auto or Pro 2. My pressure setting is 10, though the other night my bedpartner said I was snoring on my back so I reset my machine to 11 cm/H20 and no snoring.

What I hear most people saying is that the Auto is best for folks with high pressure settings. I am really interested in tracking my therapy because my doc at Kaiser really doesn't care what the hell I am doing with my therapy. For all they know I'm hooked up to a vacuum cleaner in the reverse mode.

At any rate, thanks for your help re: Encore data.

The REMstar APAP is the best choice because it can be used as CPAP if you want, you have more of a choice.

Use data to optimize your xPAP treatment!
