SU,

This is just plain ugly and nasty. I do hope that slowly but surely Johnny and Caroline will manage to restore your numerous posts and also give you some information about how this happened or who was responsible for doing such a despicable thing.

-SWS had it right several pages ago and I agree with his post. Not only is this a personal affront/attack on you, but it also seriously hampers folks ability to learn from your difficult experiences: Much as we all hope and wish that every newbie will be a duck, the sad fact is some of us aren't so lucky. And it's comforting to find out that you're not the only duck-opposite. But it's even more important to be able to take those multiple threads by other duck-opposites to glean ideas to try and to gain strength and determination to keep on trying to make it work.

As for the multiple suggestions about restricting the access to the spam button: It already does require being here for 90 days. Does it also require a certain number of posts? I'm not sure about that since I'm one who's been pretty prolific in posting since I joined. I suppose J&C could think about increasing that membership requirement to something like 180 days and limiting the number of deletions per day to something reasonable---maybe 10 or 20?

....you are more likely to fall into an abyss you don't look into, than into to the one you see.
Abyss's and some pretty dark souls are a part of reality - we'll meet them in our microcosmos every now and then as well. Not pleasant. But the light shed by many helpful kind posts on this forum - the light shed by SU's post for instance - is stronger.

I'm glad those posts were reinstated. Thank you, Carolyn.
