Sorry Dori, I haven't checked in for awhile. I'm sorry to hear about Mike. Sure hope he is on the mend soon. Keeping you both in my prayers.

Dori, I just saw this thread. I'm sorry to hear about Mike's new issues, but it is good that they have a diagnosis and are able to treat it. Sending positive thoughts and energy Mike's way. Be sure to take care of yourself too.

Hi All, Mike seemed better today,BP, blood tests and kidney function improved, still some problems but they're thinking of transferring him to rehab to get some strength back. I toured the facility this morning and it's like a nice hotel. The best part is that our Dr will see him there and the surgeon will also follow up on his wound care there. They really love my guy! I'm a little anxious about yet another type of hospital setting as he doesn't take too well to change, it confuses him. But the hours are more liberal so I'll be with him from morning till bedtime. It's going to be exhausting but it can't be worse than what I experienced this week. As long as I see some progress, that will keep me going. Thanks to everyone for keeping us in your thoughts.
