Jerry,

Came back to this post and sorry for not responding sooner. I have been off of here for a few days. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your detailed instructions! This computer dummy truly appreciates your taking the time to help.

Anyway, did exactly as you instructed and everything seems to be installed correctly. Now, I am getting a message on EncorePro that says " There was an error connecting with the SmartCard. Check your connections and try the operation again." Now what could I possibly have done wrong? Again, thanks so much for your help. One baby step at a time, I guess.

Maggie,
I get that error all the time. Close out of the program and take your card out of the reader. Re-open the program, double-click your name on the patient list, and *then* insert the card into the reader. Then click "Download Data --> SmartCard Reader." This solves the problem 90% of the time for me. It's just a matter of timing the insertion of your SmartCard properly (at least, that's what it seems to be for me).

Re: Getting All Reports From Encore Pro 1.5

[quote="Jerry69"]Den,

I never saw the screens you are talking about when I read the card today with Encore Pro 1.5. Maybe the free version we have been so giddy about is a 'lite' version? I'll have to search to see if I can find daily data. Maybe if I select a given day and not 'All Data', I will see it.

Has anyone used the free 1.5 to get complete reports? I'd really like to know.

Thanks,

Jerry

CG, Thank you, it worked! Now I just have one more question, sorry, I know I am a pain! I seem to remember that there is something that you have to do so that you information is not deleted from the card, is this true, or am I thinking of something else that I may have read?

Definitely don't want it to delete, since it has to go back to DME .

Thanks Again!

Maggie,

I think I got that message this morning. Not sure if the same message, but I just pulled the card out of the reader and re-inserted it, firmly. Then, clicked on 'Download Data' and it downloaded.
