Thanks for the help. Downloaded the reader and now when I go into Encore Pro and click on SmartCard Utilities, it says SmartCard not detected. What did I do wrong? It seemed like download went ok. I really am not good at this, but will keep trying. Any suggestions appreciated.

Am I doing things wrong? I'm so confused! Should I be doing it in the order that Yardbird posted?

(Bear with me as I'm not at home and am trying to visualize what I do "automatically" each morning)

I AM talking about Encore Pro. I'm not using 1.5 (I'm using 1.499), but assume that it's similar. What I'm talking about is after you've downloaded your daily data, there will be a dark "line" (for that and each day) that you click on, on the left hand side of the screen. Then when it opens up, there will be a "box" that's divided into two halves, on the left side will be the "compliance" or "full details" circles and on the right will be a calendar where you can select the date or range. The two little circles on the left side are what I'm talking about.

Hope I didn't make it too confusing.

I never saw the screens you are talking about when I read the card today with Encore Pro 1.5. Maybe the free version we have been so giddy about is a 'lite' version? I'll have to search to see if I can find daily data. Maybe if I select a given day and not 'All Data', I will see it.

Has anyone used the free 1.5 to get complete reports? I'd really like to know.

In the ENCORE Pro 1.5 software under the "Preference" tab then "Systems Setting" the different types of interfaces are listed (Serial, USB, PCMIC) and a button to click on to make it the default.

I do not have my smart card reader yet, but maybe the ENCORE Pro 1.5 software doesn't need the extra drivers to work. From other posts with the 1.4 version it seemed like the drivers needed to be added just to recognize the USB port.

Should have my card reader in about 1 week or else I could see if 1.5 worked just by setting the USB option.

When you loaded the driver on your computer it created a "restore point" so you can make your computer just like it was before you loaded the smartcard driver. Try "Restoring the computer to before you loaded the driver" and then try what I suggested above. Wish I could help more but without my card reader I just offering suggestions.

I have had my SmartCard reader over a year and yet to get it working on my WinXP software SP2.

Anyone else have the issue of the device not be seen by WinXP?

When I set my preferences to USB, then go back and click on utilities, it says that Smart Card reader not detected. Have tried everything that I can think of- even deleted program, then re-installed it, and still the same problems.

Yes, I did set myself up as the only patient. And, when I double click on my name, I get the compliance data...graphed, but that is all. No AHI's or Snore Indices, etc.

Of course, I previously chose to download the card.

Double-click on the date that is under the interactive list. That should bring up a box that asks if you want "Summary" or Full Details".

Thanks for the help. How to get the details is obscure! I made a post viewtopic.php?t=5887 to Derek's topic where I explained what you guys told me. I included some screen shots that you might compare with your version of Encore Pro.

I'm elated to get the detailed report from Encore Pro 1.5.

I think there are lots of "obscure" things in that software.....not to mention the "averaging" of the AHI figures. Once you get Derek's MyEncore installed, you probably won't pay a whole lot of attention to the Encore Pro.....just use it for the download and to see if and when your apneas and hypopneas occurred.
