Well my last paid day of "work" is tomorrow. Lay off paperwork will come I'd guess either tomorrow or next week.

Found out why I haven't heard from the last place that I interviewed with. First, keep in mind that there are multiple spots, and 2 of us interviewed.

They asked for transcripts... they got mine on Monday. The other guy (local) hasn't submitted his yet!

I'd hire you to come work for me but you'd have to be able to fit into a CPAP hose.

I am hoping for good news for you.

For those of you in the software development area, I have found work in the past through http://elance.com and http://www.guru.com. These are always short term projects usually done remotely, but the added income helps.

Hi C,

Any news? It is great you have a fall-back position. And here's hoping you won't need it! Please, keep us posted.

Namaste,
MoonBear

I wonder if "in negotiations" is code for "we'll think about it after the holidays?" In any case, these doors, while not yet open, are at least unlocked, so here's hoping things work out like y'all wish they would!
