Jane seems to be new, but the links were previously posted by regulars. They are for a specific company but there is some good info and lots of ideas for those who like to do their own thing. I checked the links and they are safe.
Don't know about the 'Watch Free Movies Online' tag at the bottom. I wouldn't go there . . .

Let me fill you in, because I actually know what that is. It's spam. That is the new style of spam. Spammers get a userid, and then put a spam link in their signature.
The other links were not "Janet's" links. They were posted by other people. She just made some stupid comment in order to put up her post with spam in the sig.

I enjoy having what seems to be odorless sleep.
Environmental odors seem to be minimized through the machine.
OK by me.
Spam, on the other hand, STINKS!

To be FAIR to Bret Randal owner and member of this forum
http://www.pur-sleep.com/products/prodD ... rch=&page= AND Sells a GREAT product that has helped MANY users Happy with the use of a few drops!
Maybe the use of "SPAMMER" should be researched more or defined as you understand its meaning. . . .

This seems to be a real hot-button issue. I can understand not wanting other people's scents imposed on you in public, but this discussion is about private use at home. Noone objects to a discussion of the name brand PAP machines and masks. The Pur site actually gives away their ingredients and has a lot of useful information, making it easy for those who want to experiment on their own. Anything that improves compliance, makes using PAPs more pleasant and is less harmful than most of the artificially scented body products out there is worth discussing.

What on earth are you talking about?? I'm talking about the SPAM link in her signature. Did you not read my post? Did you not see the spam link in her signature? I said the other links (to pur sleep or whatever) were not spam, they were just copied by her in order to provide her a platform for posting her SPAM.
People around here are way too defensive about vendors they think of as friends. I wasn't even talking about Bret and you lept to the conclusion that I was calling links to his product spam.

Give it a rest. No one is saying links to Pur Sleep should not be posted. I was objecting to the spam in her signature, not the links in the stuff she quoted. Again, she only quoted stuff and made some harmless comment in order to post a spam link in her signature.

No Loq, YOU give it a rest. You need more sleep time, you are rather abrasive to anyone that disagrees with you. Nighty night now.

They are not disagreeing with me, they are misunderstanding me. I think if they would look and see that what she posted in her signature is irrelevant to OSA, therapy, etc. they would understand that it is spam. This is the latest method spammers use. They say something in the post itself that seems to be relevant, but their signature actually contains the spam links.

I ordered the Pur-Sleep starter pack a few days ago. I'm looking forward to receiving and trying it. However last night I used a cotton pad (not a cotton ball), soaked with pure vanilla extract, and placed it in a shot glass near the air intake on my CPAP. It resulted in pleasant, light vanilla-scented air. I used the national brand vanilla extract available in all grocery stores in the spice section. I'm not sure how this compares in price with essential oils as both are pricey. But in a pinch it will work.

I've been using pure essential oils I purchased at a health food store, and now online.
I seem to like the Aura Cacia® brand Lavender oil.

I use natural essential oils (which aren't diluted in a carrier oil, otherwise they wouldn't be called essential oil) and use a small circular cosmetic pad which is about 2" in diameter.
Then I put a couple of drops of my oil of choice - eucalyptus, lavender or a blend of my own - on a pad, put it in a shallow, glazed pottery dish a little bigger than the pad - it fits perfectly right in front of my air intake.
Each fragrance has its own pad, which I keep in ziplock bags and just add a couple of fresh drops of oil to my choice for that night.
it really does make using the CPAP less unpleasant

I've found that a tiny, tiny bit of scent is best. I got a little carried away in the beginning and now only use it occasionally and very sparingly. I really enjoyed eucalyptus when I had a mild sinus thing.

OKAY this might be a PLUG or SPAM < According to Loq??>
The little bottles from
http://www.pur-sleep.com have about 50 drops +- ? so that's cheaper than NOT SLEEPING....

If the COST seems to high ?? I thin my little bottles with a shot of rubbing alcohol and the smell only has to last till you get to SLEEP.....
That's the
