Thanks for the link! I've read about the light strap, but ...my exhalation port is right there under the pillows! I'm not sure how to cover them without accidentally covering the exhalation area!!??

Well, due to a power outage, no cpap last night, and OH, man, I feel so good.. so "cool and breezy" inside..
I have a ton of energy too!
I have no idea why I feel so much better when I dont use my apap, but Im going to figure it out....
BECAUSE I know its good for me to wear it

I am worried about those arousals!!!!
They really need to think of another term for that!

@elena...My DME is really good - I could make yet another appointment, but the FX itself is comfortable -- I just like to move from side to side, so I've had to find ways to keep the little pillows in place (thin oblong nostrils).
Oh so you have the "cute nose" syndrome..
Im glad you had a better night, cool bandaid trick! wow!

To keep pillows in you might try a light strap made from lycra (ladies tights/ bathsuit fabric) across the pillows. It doesn't need any real tension.
Personally I prefer the Hybrid as a mask.
With regard to migraines - learn some relaxation techniques like autogenics This will help with relaxing for sleep also
Wow, that is great you are no longer a light sleeper! thanks for the great tips here!

Now I am exhausted wake up often when I am wearing the mask, half the time I take the mask off because I need to sleep. I just purchased the Orcale oral mask, this fits right into your mouth ( I am a mouth breather). The first 2 nights have not went well. Thought I was going to fall asleep with the mask on yesterday then air pressure built up in my nose and I had to pull out the nasal plugs to let it out. I am using a machine which is suspose to adjust the pressure as needed. Has anyone had this problem with the oral masks?
Hi there! Its nice to meet someone else who was never tired before cpap.. I feel like I started a lonely hearts club on the forum!
Im sorry you are feeling so exhausted. I have thought of trying that oracle mask too, no headgear. I would think that would take a little practice to
get used to that. Maybe someone who is wearing one can chime in about that. That must have been really uncomfortable when the air pressure built
up in your nose, that happens with the chipmonk cheeks when people tape too.. I would imagine there was some sort of blockage?
Anyway, there has to be an answer for all of these questions, so lets keep looking..

I dont know about the light strap, but when I use my slim velour stretch headbands, I can stick it right underneath the crease between the port and the
pillows..

aha!! I discovered a way...I can go "under" everything and pull back and up a bit...Keeps everything in place!! (took a little nap just to try it out and was able to rid myself of the ACE bandage!! )
uGHH...We're getting there...little by little

Thanks for the encouragement...It really does help!!
