S9, can't get AHI breakdown & data missing

Post by Uncle_Bob » Mon Mar 15, 2010 11:53 am

Lately I've been trying to access the AHI breakdown on the machines display which I've never managed to do.

I did read a post about accessing another menu to do this, not the clinical menu but an advance info menu (seriously how many menus )

To access the advance info menu i hold down the info and setup button for three seconds and all that happens is the screen flickers, i just get AHI and mask fit etc.

I've tried being in the clinical menu/mode before doing this also. Sleep Quality is also set to "On".

Since this did not work i popped out the SD card and marched off to my computer to download my data for the night.

And now i find that all i can get for the detailed data is just the flow, i can't select any other data items

What did i do

From there you need to wheel down to the next screen down on the left and click on it to show it, then click on it again to go into the right-hand pane...then you can scroll down to the AHI breakout... I'll post a picture later after I get home. The change from the standard info page is that you get that extra screen to look at--it is not displayed by default. You also get a more detailed screen that shows all of the machine settings--the patient screen just shows options that you can change as a patient.

Now that is strange... I have noticed some quirks with the 3.10 software myself--where my summary graphs don't show up, though I can get to the detailed ones. Restarting ResScan seems to fix that.

Hi Uncle Bob...

Ya the DL from the SD card changes unless it is set. Next time... When you import your data on your card... in the box "Select Report" check the "All Available Data" and beside that in the same box check the box "Select Data Type to Download"...

A new dialog box comes up "Select Data Type to Download":
1. check the box "All Summary data and..."
2. Drop Down box... select "All"
3. "Check" include High Data Rate Sessions (etc)
and most importantly
4. "Check" make these default options...
and click "OK"

You should be good to go...

I've got those settings already so all i have to do is select download and not specify all data each time. So i'm wondering what else it could be ...

I'm doing this from memory... heh heh, so please forgive if not exactly... but as I remember:

In 3.10 go to Tools menu and select Options and Graphs: Make sure that in the Detailed options that all the options are available in 3.10 and Apply...

If so then may be the card that is not getting the info as the blower; If not then it may be a deeper software issue in 3.10.

Good luck...

Looks like there are still some random issues with the software...

Have you considered attempting to re-download the software? It may be yours was unintentionally corrupted during download. When I see dll errors like that, it makes me think of install file corruption.

I would use md5 check 2.1 in windows to make sure the file has a valid md5 sum.
If you compare it with this one, they should be identical:
D5C72D83D3A6F9FF120A49C14D0EAA73

If that checks out, here are some other avenues:
Has this always been the case, or did everything except flow just disappear one day?

I'm on WinXP. Are you using Vista or 7? I'm guessing Vista.
Would it help to the install in WinXP emulation?

Hi DD

I think since Uncle Bob DL the main link and I UL from his... and it was working properly originally... worth a try but...
I'm also on XP Pro thru a virtual and my DL works fine. It doesn't say that the software is 7 compatible... just Vista, 2000, XP etc. You would think that the software would have alerted to an incompatible OS but who knows...

Bob... First... are you on 7 or what is your OS??? Second... did you do a complete re-install after deleting all traces of the original ResScan??? Is your PC working properly in all other ways since this developed. Perhaps there is some corruption to the OS that needs to be addressed...

Failed to register means either you're not an administrator (try downloading the EXE installer to your hard disk and right clicking and say RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR) or login with Administrator rights to your PC.

There's also a few more links available on Google at http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&cl ... =&aql=&oq= that might help a little.

It's possible that that DLL might already be copied into system area and be registered or there could be a problem with your registry.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/249873

Also:
Error 1904.Module [filepath] Failed to Register. HRESULT -2147220473.

Summary
Installation problem can be caused by invalid atl.dll registration.

Applies To: Copernic Enterprise Search 3+

Symptom
During installation, these messages can be encountered (paths to files may vary):

· Error 1904.Module C:\Program Files\Copernic Enterprise Search 3\Bin\CESAdmin300NT.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147220473. Contact your support personnel.

· Error 1904.Module C:\Program Files\Copernic Enterprise Search 3\Bin\CESMonitor300NT.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147220473. Contact your support personnel.

· Error 1904.Module C:\Program Files\Copernic Enterprise Search 3\Bin\CESSearch300NT.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147220473. Contact your support personnel.

· Error 1904.Module C:\Program Files\Copernic Enterprise Search 3\Bin\CIDXConverterLib310NT.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147220473. Contact your support personnel.

Cause
It may be caused by a system dll (atl.dll) not being correctly registered on the host system.

Solution
1. Locate atl.dll, generally found in “C:\WINNT\system32” or “C:\WINDOWS\system32”.

2. Open the command-line prompt

a. Start Menu/Run

b. Type “cmd”

c. Press ENTER

3. Using the atl.dll filename and path, call regsvr32, i.e. at the command-line prompt, type:

a. regsvr32 “C:\WINNT\system32\atl.dll”

b. Press ENTER

4. You should see a regsvr32 window, confirming success: Close it.

5. Restart Coveo Enterprise Search installation.

Just change the dll details for yours.

So last night i tried a clean install on my laptop running XP and using an SD card reader. The result was not good. I only got 4 items in the detailed graphs which is an improvement over just flow but i didn't get the events chart and some others still.

The night that showed just the flow on my desktop ResScan now shows as no detailed data available on my laptop.
