AHI at sleep study - 19
Oxygen desat down to 85%.

My husband
AHI - 107
Desat down to 47%

(He's not a member and I didn't put it in the voting, but just thought I'd mention it!)

Sleep study was about 103AHI. Desat's in the 70's.

Current AHI consistently running about 1.7 with CPAP pressure of 12.

The week before sleep study I had a cold with severe nasal congestion. Could this have affected the sleep study numbers? Maybe 103AHI was just because of the cold??

I imagine most of the people using this forum would be in the moderate to severe category.

I never successfully slept during a sleep study, so I'm not sure about my untreated AHI.

But I desat down into low 80%'s SPO2 without CPAP.

I have no clue. Never had a sleep study. Mom gave me my machine. Girlfriend gave me her old Cofortgel mask. I have no health care.

Be that as it may I just use the machine to make noise at night to sleep by. Sure I wake up every 3 hours but I can NOT get used to that machine. I've been through 5 masks and every setting. I've been trying for 3 years now...

The trips to the bathrom were the worst, 5-6 times a night. That may not sound TOO bad, but I was only sleeping 4 hours a night!

Very strange!

Have you tried an ASV machine? It may be that your centrals are getting worse due to CPAP treatment.

AHI = 16, O2 = 86%, bathroom trips = 10 or more!

Bathroom trips are now down to 0 or 1.

O2 Sats-80's
bathroom trips 5-8 per night
Bipap-Priceless!!
Now my AHI is 0 - 5 per night and my bathroom trips are 0 - 1 per night
don't know about my O2 sats as don't have an oximeter at home, but am going to ask my dr. to order an overnight oximetry test to see what my sats are doing now.
