You know, that gives me an idea for a thread, what songs we can come up with that have to do with dreaming, sleeping, etc., sort of like that creative thread with the OSA/CPAP poetry a week or so ago.

Okay. I'll get the ball rolling:

Dream On (Aerosmith)

Boulevard of Broken Dreams (Green Day)

Sleep to Dream (Fiona Apple)

Sleeping to Dream (Jason Mraz)

Teachin' Myself to Dream (Katy Rose)

Impossible Dream (from Man of La Mancha)

Okay, your turn...

Dream Weaver, by Gary Wright

I've just closed my eyes again
Climbed aboard the dream weaver train
Driver take away my worries of today
And leave tomorrow behind

Ooh dream weaver
I believe you can get me through the night
Ooh dream weaver
I believe we can reach the morning light

Fly me high through the starry skies
Maybe to an astral plane
Cross the highways of fantasy
Help me to forget today's pain

Though the dawn may be coming soon
There still may be some time
Fly me away to the bright side of the moon
And meet me on the other side.............

Boy, that says it all pretty well !

OSR,

You and I, I'm afraid, are cut from the same musical cloth. Gary Wright, the one hit wonder, with Dream Weaver. How I loved that song. I guess we can call our CPAP equipment the dream weavers of our souls.

Great choice!!! Sorry I didn't think of that one myself...

And with that.... the continuing saga of Bungalow Bill!
(A Beatles song... song thread...get it...huh?)

Not really. But the saga of the masks. We'll really find something out tonight/this morning.

Some adjustment I made to the Breeze gave me a wicked sore on my left nare that has, after three days, cleared up. So I've been using the Activa for the past three nights and getting good sleep.

Back to the original part of this post - when I use the Breeze I have woken up early feeling great! With the Activa I get good results but haven't woken up early. Seems like every time I wear that Breeze I wake up at 5am, raring to go..

Tonight we use the Breeze - and we'll see what happens. Hopefully we'll not have a "nare flare"...

That is a great song, isn't it Lori?? One of my favorites!

So that explains the problems I've been having!

(Just joking; no problems. Not even any problems carrying my 420E and humidifier, etc. onto the plane for my business trip. Being away on business explains why I'm now playing catchup here on the forum.)

Like maybe the Flowers' house?

My latest favorite theme song is something that just came out by some young woman singer (can't remember her name) titled "Breathe (2am)". I like it for the refrain, which goes: "Breathe, just breathe".

The first time I heard it was as I was pulling into the parking lot for my titration. Seemed prophetic.

As is Bungalow Bill, and the entire Beatles White Album...boy, you and I have very similar music tastes. Now I have to go find the CD I downloaded of the White Album to hear at least that song...makes me want to hear "I'm So Tired," which really fits the thread, too, no?

Good luck tonight with the Breeze. If you're rarin' to go at 5 AM, that interface must be doing something pretty powerful by you. Good luck!

Beatles - The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill

Hey, Bungalow Bill
What did you kill
Bungalow Bill?

He went out tiger hunting with his elephant and gun
In case of accidents he always took his mom
He's the all American bullet-headed saxon mother's son.
All the children sing

Hey Bungalow Bill
What did you kill
Bungalow Bill?

Deep in the jungle where the mighty tiger lies
Bill and his elephants were taken by surprise
So Captain Marvel zapped him right between the eyes
All the children sing

Hey, Bungalow Bill
What did you kill
Bungalow Bill?

The children asked him if to kill was not a sin
"Not when he looked so fierce", his mother butted in
"If looks could kill it would have been us instead of him".....
All the children sing

Hey, Bungalow Bill
What did you kill
Bungalow Bill?

I'm so tired... what a great song! I didn't even think of that one.

The line about Sir Walter Raleigh is a classic.

Did someone mention Sweet Dreams? (Patsy Cline or The Eurythmics)

Not when he looked so fierce
I can hear Yoko's squeaky voice right now.

"And curse Sir Walter Raleigh, he was such a stupid get..."

OSR,

Breathe by Pink Floyd, OMG, does that bring back memories that I can't talk about on this site, regardless of how apropos it is to this thread. Thanks again, for the memories. I'm starting to feel very old, but glad I was around in that era to be a first-hand recipient of that music. But I guess every generation feels that way. Nah, I'm right...
