So am I understanding this correctly? The phospholipids provide a 4 to 6 hour lubricant that prevents the throat tissues from making an air tight seal and thus prevent apnea?
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

That does sound like the claim, DS. If it actually works, I wonder what other edible substances with phospholipids, such as lethecin, might have the same effect. A spoonful of medicine helps the oxygen go down?

Kiralynx, Yeah, I ate that great meal with a side of Garlic Bread. Big Side. Bigger than my head. Duh.... Okay, not THAT big. Two slices of Sourdough French Bread schmeared with vastly unhealthy Garlic Spread from Krogers.

The Olive Bruschetta IS sort of a Tapenade. I don't know the difference. It's a jar of good tasting stuff I bought at Costco, that says it's made by Martha Stewart. Yummy! And really doctors up plain old spaghetti sauce in a jar nicely.

PreemieRN and Raj...

Dreamstalker - Most of us on this thread think the research is flawed on this. Don't sell your cpap on Craigslist yet.

DSM - Okay I'm now going to be frying bananas wrapped in bacon.

Kiralynx, please give me a nice intelligent reason to give my boyfriend when he complains that the above isn't diet food for me.

JeffH, great idea with the ripe bananas!!! Do you peel them first, and put them into a tupperware or something?

Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

Well I think they make edible Astroglide but I wouldn't know anything about that ... Babs ... what say you?

I don't MIND the taste of AstroGlide, but I don't recommend it. It's Silicone, after all.

LOL,

Babs,

Sorry, dear -- I have to agree with the BF. It's not diet food. <g>

Put your sauce on spaghetti squash or steamed zucchini. (Friend of mine makes a to-die-for vegetable lasagna.)

Make your own garlic spread with rich, luscious, healthy butter (skip the margarine and margarine blends...).

Have crackers made out of cheese and put your tapenade on that....

Take some nice ripe bananas, peel them, freeze them, whip them up and chow down ala banana ice cream. YUMMY!

Dang, now I'm getting hungry again....

No no! I meant the bananas wrapped in bacon and fried. Isn't that diet food?

LOL,
B.

Even better. Bananas Foster, with extra Foster, if you get my drift (rum and banana liqueur).

I peel 'em first and just put them on a piece of wax paper in the freezer. They get eaten pretty fast.

Several years ago I had a desert with chopped bananas and Godiva chocolate liquor but I would think that chopped bananas with Baily's or Kahlua would be just as good too ... somehow I don't think it helps with OSA though

So what exactly do they call the residual apneas then? Bananapneas?

Love banana chat on message boards. It's a darn good all-natural food and it reminds me of my habitat... er... what humans call home (as does ET call home). <drum roll or rim shot for a bad joke or three>

Which may help explain why mouth leak can do such a number on AHI. Dry sticky throat and tongue, not a good thing.

Okay, I've been laughing my way through this whole thread, but this is the first time I actually had to shriek out loud! TOO funny!

And every one of these banana ideas sounds better to me than a gluey, slimy smoothie. AstroGlide sounds better!
