What in the name of sense do I do to prevent a mask full of drool. I beleive some of it is rain out and am turning the humidity down but then I get a sore throat. Yes, I am a mouth breather. Last night I had the humidity on 3 with no sore throat and a river running through the bed. Thanks,
Jen

Re: drool?
Sounds like rainout to me. Have you covered your hose? Until you can get a hose cover, use put the hose under the covers with you.
See Rested Gal's links on rainout. Yes, it's about the Aussie Heated hose, but the thread also contains alternatives, including hose snuggles, available on cpap.com. You can also make your own, if you're good with a sewing machine or thread and needle. You can get a remnant of polar fleece at your local fabric store and make some great hose covers for under five bucks.

Re: drool?
Are you new to xPAP? I drooled horribly for a while until I got used to it. If rainout is a factor a cheap fix, so I've heard anyway, is getting a pack of tube socks and cutting the toes off, then stringing them on the hose and taping them together.
Re: drool?
I once forgot my hose cover and ended up putting the hose through the leg of my son's sweat pants. (No he wasn't in them)
