I just returned from a weekend of celebrating our anniversary and need to catch up on work etc. Until I get to posting the instructions including measurments, you could do the following:
Lay out a piece of single layer microfleece
Place the nasal piece on top of fleece near an edge
cut out a square that would loosely fit one side of nasal piece
use that square to cut out another square
slip one of the squares under the metal piece - trim as necessary to do this
hold the nasal piece and place the other square on the opposite side of the metal piece side
trim to take away excess material leaving enough to stitch the two sides together
stitch being careful to not poke a hole in the nasal piece : )
voila
My thin single layer microfleece allows me to wash the entire piece in the morning as it dries by night time.
