All of the tips and information that were given in this post were right on. I am a musician who travels frequently in & out of the country. The airport screeners are seeing more CPAP equipment each day so they know what to expect. I as well fly out of Newark/Liberty airport. As stated in posts here, remove machine from bag and place in bin. Most major airports will glide you through the security process without any problems. It's the small town airports where you will have some issues since they act like you are carrying some sort of UFO device. Happy flying and let's hope we don't get charged $$$ for carrying medical equipment in the future. $7 for pillow & blanket??? AARRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!
