Mine's too big...I'm always one of the smaller folks at the sleep clinic too in terms fo bone structure/weight, so I might be an extreme case. To get the chin strap tight enough, the cap actually covers my eyes halfway!! Let me know if I can trade for a "pinhead size" at some point.SleepGuy wrote:Babette, is the newer size better for you?
I've actually been thinking about this very issue for the past week and going to two sizes might be the best solutions.
How is the current size working for others? Would it be appropriate to call it the "regular" size or is it still too big? It would be nice to know the hat size of the people for whom it's just right so I could have a frame of reference.

Starting today I will be working on a larger size prototype to exchange for those whose cap is too small, so stay tuned. Measurements and other specific suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
On the larger cap one of the big issues I had was that it covered the top inch of my ears. After wearing it all night my ears would be really sore so I had the side strap piece narrowed up. She also narrowed up the two middle panels, but that makes it ride a bit high on larger heads (including mine).

For those waiting, I have a small amount of the new "Regular" size cap in stock (10 units) available in the Voyager fabric only. There are more on the way, including royal blue next week.
The new size is not yet up on the website but will be added over the weekend. If you want to order the larger size, just make a note.

Don't forget the pinheads! (You could call it a "petite" or even pediatric size.)
Interesting thing: so I can't really make the one I have work for me as a chin strap (I assume...I'm not using a data capable machine, but I think I might still be mouth leaking in some cases)....but it HAS helped me secure my masks better (they were slipping around on my longish hair and--you guessed it--smaller skull). I also like the loop on top for securing the hose.
However, again, it almost covers my eyes when it's fitted correctly...so it acts as a bonus eyemask as well?
Thanks for your efforts on this.
