Wow Bill, your experience was certainly different to mine. Nice to hear, I had to push the 'shop' for every assistance, although once pushed they were more than happy to oblige - just needed that shove. I did not have much information at all from the sleep doctor, although to be fair my son was more than happy with the service, so maybe I caught him on a bad day. I did however choose not go back for follow up, that's for sure.

I was titrated at BH hospital, and the 'shop' did later advise that the technician there had little experience, very few masks to trial, and had had some problems (my son was titrated at Hornsby Sleep Centre, a world of difference it would appear). I was given one mask at titration to try, and never saw him again until morning. Had small leaks all night, claimed to be normal. The shop later claimed that mask was obviously correct for me, and that was that. Legally apparently had to purchase, could not trial. Wonderful.

Once I got onto this site, and went back and insisted, they let me trial DOZENS until I got it right, but very little fitting went on. and many could have been eliminated simply at titration. So good to hear of a positive experience!

> Have they stopped supplying ?

Yes. They only have three items on their website. All say "not in stock" and have said that for a while.

It's not that great a deal anyway. You need the card reader, the software, and _two_ cards (one for a backup). Most websites, like cpap.com, bundle the software and reader for a discounted price. If you buy the card reader from two-factors (which you can't anymore anyway) then you can't get the discounted price on the software. And you still need to buy the cards. Plus the shipping cost and the wait for the card reader on a slow boat from China. With cpap.com, and some other websites, purchases over a certain amount get free shipping. That's what I did.

I seen the topic of this thread and it automatically generated this mental image in my mind of a Resmed blue dumpster full of flamed out S8's, sitting next to it was a picnic table near the warehouse door of Resmed headquarters with all the Aussies on break sitting around the picnic table smoking cigarettes and drinking Foster lager, kangaroos jumping in the background trying to read Rescan reports

But what color do you want?

Who told? How'd you know? You've been here before!

Thanks for the link Snoredog, will contact Mako instead. Dearer, but still cheaper to pay in US and import than to buy here, sadly enough.
