As many of you will see in my earlier post today i received my new Comfort Curve today against my will. Well I will say that it is comfortable....but the seal is terrible no matter what I do. I even took it for a test fit sleep this afternoon...While I slept well the leak rate was higher than I like...so I tried to tweak it better and had no luck. So it has to go...
I am going to try to get my DME to exchange it for another....hope it works.
But what mask to I ask for....???? I like my Comfort Gel and my Swift Nasal Pillows. I was thinking of the Ultra Mirage...I want to stick with a ResMed Mask cuz my APAP is ResMed and it has pre-programmed ReMed Mask settings.
What are you favorite and least favorite ReMed Masks...keep in mind my pressure get up to around 16 to 18 so leaks can worsen at those higher pressures.
Also, if the DME won't exchange and I am stuck with it....is anyone interested in swapping?
Later,
Jeff

JD, I understand your wanting to stick with ResMed masks. I don't even have a ResMed autopap now, but I use ResMed masks fine with other autos.
I used a ResMed Spirit auto for a week or two - very nice machine - it's serving someone else well who needed it more than I do, since I have another auto. While I had the Spirit, I used it with several other brands of masks. I simply chose the setting for the closest match of mask type.
For example, I used the setting they say to use for the Swift when I used my Breeze. Worked fine.
ResMed masks are excellent, imho, but if I wanted to try some other mfgr's masks with the ResMed autopap, I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

Rested,
Have you tried the Comfort Curve? I think I seen a reply from you in one of the posts regarding it. If so remind what you thought and stuff?
